| | The City of North Myrtle Beach is now in charge of beach services. Safety for beachgoers is the City’s primary goal with this initiative. The City is in charge of providing lifeguards, managing concessions and renting chairs and umbrellas to beachgoers. There is a separate staff to operate concessions, which allows lifeguards to focus solely on protecting residents and visitors at the beach. | |
